Face redness and Aloe Vera Gel
Patients with face redness symptoms often have adult acne (acne rosacea) to coexist with redness in approximately 82% of rosacea sufferers and an additional 35% have seborrheic dermatitis which makes for a most delicate facial skin redness condition. Retinoids, steroids, and laser therapy often aggravate, redden or thin the skin which can cause further sensitivity. Likewise, most acne products are too aggressive and cause more damage to sensitive rosacea skin. And sometimes with the rough and aged looking skin, some mistakenly chose to exfoliate their already sensitive skin with exfoliants by various brand names but most often to their surprise, the skin becomes more red and more sensitive.
Aloe Vera Gel works on face redness problems by soothing inflammation, fighting infection, dissolving dead skin and digesting any pus.
Apply gel in the morning and regularly through the day. Skin should feel cooler on first application and overall improvement noticed within a week. Drinking Aloe Vera Juice will help reduce inflammation and boost your imune system. Take one tablespoon two or three times a day.
Aloe cream - another rosacea treatment option?
Rosacea is a chronic, facial redness which for many, simply does not go away. It is most common in Caucasian women, between 30 and 60 years. Four types of rosacea are not equally spread - 50% of those who suffer from it, have red and itchy eyes. The other half can be classified into the remaining 3 groups: First, those with flushing and redness "only"; in the second group the face is red but with acne-like spots and bumps; in the third, the skin of the nose gets thick, known as "brandy nose".
How does the UV radiation affect rosacea?
Rosacea has been occurring mostly on the side of an individual's face nearest the window of their vehicle. For example, passengers have more veins on the right side. Although the glass blocks UVB radiation, it allows 71% of UVA to transmit through.' Thus, many patients challenged by rosacea exhibit a significant asymmetry of veins on their faces.
Aloe Vera for Burns, Wounds and Sunburn
Burns
Burns are serious, and those beyond first degree need medical attention. Aloe Vera can be excellent first-aid treatment. It acts as an effective pain-inhibitor and antibiotic, but it also has anti-inflammatory agents which are less toxic than synthetic ones. Due to its chemical composition, Aloe Vera gel penetrates the skin and becomes quickly absorbed, so that it is not in the way of any later medical treatment.
